Embedded Content (Iframes)

Our website includes embedded content provided by third parties through iframes (for example, video players). When you view or interact with embedded content, the third-party provider can collect information about your device and your interaction with the embedded content, and can set cookies or use similar technologies. Embedded elements follow the same consent rules as cookies on this website. Where consent is required, the embedded content is blocked by default until you choose to enable the relevant category.

Marketing
We embed third-party content that can support marketing-related features and measurements by the provider.
Legal basis: Requires user consent - blocked by default

Third-Party Services and Data Recipients

Google (including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Marketing/DoubleClick) provides analytics and marketing measurement technologies. When enabled, these services process information (including pseudonymous identifiers and device information) according to Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

YouTube provides embedded video content and related cookies/technologies when you enable the relevant cookie category and interact with the embedded player. Data is processed according to YouTube/Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

We use our own consent management system (Trustwards) to record your cookie preferences. The 'trustwardsCookie' stores which cookie categories you have accepted or rejected, ensuring your choices persist across visits. This cookie is strictly necessary for compliance with applicable privacy regulations and consent requirements. Your consent data is processed securely and is not shared with third parties unless legally required.

International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside EU/EEA:

- Google (including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Marketing/DoubleClick): Headquartered in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
- YouTube: Headquartered in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF).

We recommend reviewing each provider's privacy policy for detailed information about their data protection measures.

Legal Basis for Processing

Strictly Necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement because they are strictly necessary for the service you have requested (including storing your cookie consent choices) and cannot be disabled through our cookie settings tool. All other cookie categories (Functional, Analytics, and Marketing) require your consent under the GDPR and the ePrivacy rules; these cookies are blocked by default and are only activated after you provide explicit consent for the relevant category.

Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You can accept or reject cookie categories at any time using our cookie consent banner (Trustwards CMP), which provides prior opt-in, granular category choices, and Google Consent Mode v2. Non-essential cookies (Functional, Analytics, and Marketing) are blocked by default until you give consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by changing your selections in the cookie banner; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew consent.

How to Control Cookies in Your Browser

In addition to our cookie settings tool, you can control cookies through your browser settings, including viewing which cookies are stored, deleting cookies, and blocking cookies (including settings for first-party and third-party cookies).
Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies (and Site data).
Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
Apple Safari (macOS/iOS): Settings/Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data (and options to block cookies).
Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Cookies and site data.
If you block cookies, some website features can stop working; strictly necessary cookies are required for the website to function and to store your privacy choices.

Similar Technologies

Local Storage is a browser feature that allows websites to store data persistently on your device. Unlike cookies, this data does not expire automatically and remains until manually cleared. We use Local Storage strictly for essential website functionality, such as remembering your preferences and settings to provide a consistent browsing experience. This usage is strictly necessary for the service you have requested and is therefore exempt from consent requirements under applicable law.

Session Storage is a browser feature that temporarily stores data only for the duration of your browser session. This data is automatically deleted when you close your browser tab or window. We use Session Storage strictly for essential functionality during your visit, such as maintaining your navigation state and form data. This usage is strictly necessary for the service you have requested and is therefore exempt from consent requirements under applicable law.

We use Google Tag Manager container GTM-P5G6K54H to manage and deploy website tags. Tags that are not strictly necessary (for example, analytics or marketing tags) are blocked by default and are only activated after you provide consent for the relevant category through our cookie banner.

Cookie Retention Periods

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. On this website, the following cookies are session cookies: wp-wpml_current_language, YSC.
Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or you delete them. On this website, persistent cookie durations include: 15 minutes (test_cookie), 3 months (_gcl_au), 6 months (__Secure-ROLLOUT_TOKEN, __Secure-YNID, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, VISITOR_PRIVACY_METADATA), 12 months (trustwardsCookie), and 14 months (_ga, _ga_JTW8FLLPG8).

Your Rights

Where we rely on your consent for cookies, you have the right to withdraw consent at any time by changing your cookie preferences in our cookie banner. You also have the right to access information about the cookies we use (as described in this policy) and to request deletion of cookie data (for example, by requesting assistance or by deleting cookies in your browser). You have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country if you believe your rights have been violated; please refer to our Privacy Policy for specific supervisory authority contact details. To exercise your rights in relation to cookies on this website, contact us at t4c@t4c.gr.

Updates to This Policy

We review this Cookies Policy periodically and update it when our cookie practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this policy shows when it was last revised. For significant changes, we will notify you through the cookie banner and request new consent where required. Changes take effect from the date indicated at the top of this policy.
